Doing Geography: Guerrilla Geography

How can you broaden your understanding of the world around you while connecting to your local community? Meet Daniel Raven-Ellison. Daniel is embarking on new approaches to exploration by practicing guerilla geography. For example, his new film, "Urban Earth" was created by taking a photograph every eight steps across different cities.

Explore Your World

Explore Your World is an outdoor learning website created by Texas Parks and Wildlife with activities and resources for discovering the world around you. Get ready to make your own observations and discoveries about the plants and animals in your community, and record your findings by creating your own field journal. These activities are excellent fits for this year's GeoWeek theme.
